In Review: Red Raj - Henna

Red Raj Henna
Hey Y'all,

I can't help but buy products from Henna Sooq every time I see them! Whether it's online, at an event or etc... I ALWAYS leave with something from them and my wallet is always thinner! LOL

I bought their Red Raj Henna and couldn't wait to try it out!

I also bought their Cocoveda and Moroccan Clay Shampoo Bar a while back - so Stay Tuned for that post as well! :-)

Sealed Henna

Info and Directions

My Mix:

- 100g of Red Raj Henna
- 2 Cups of Water
- 4 Bags of Green Tea
- 1 Tbsp of Honey

1 Tbsp of Honey

4 Bags of Green Tea & 2 Cups of Water
My Mix
I boiled water, added 2 Cups of boiled water to a measuring, added 4 bags of Green Tea and let it set until cooled to room temperature.
I added the Henna to a large bowl, added the Green Tea and mixed it together.
I let it set for 4 hours, then added 1 Tbsp of Honey.
I sealed it with saran wrap and a lid & let it set overnight.

Freshly Washed Hair
The next day, I washed my hair and put it into 4 sections with clips.
*Gloves Ready* - I applied the Henna to damp hair and worked it into each section.
I then removed the clips from my completed sections of Henna'd hair and put them all together.
I added saran wrap as added protection. (Henna can't get real messy)
I put on my shower cap with a headband, my scarf and my beanie & went about my day!

The next morning I rinsed out the Deep Conditioner and put my hair in 4 sections.
I applied a Styling Cream and put my hair into Medium Sized - 2 Strand Twists.
I then stretched and pinned my 2 Strand Twists and placed a Decorative Scarf on my head.
It works as a protective style and is great for work and when going out and about!
